Stephen Entwisle grew up in Christchurch.
After studying design at Christchurch Polytechnic, Stephen moved overseas where he began working as an in-house photographer for a real estate company in central London. With Europe on his doorstep, Stephen spent many weekends with his trusty camera walking the streets. These experiences led him to photograph the historic and dynamic urban environment crafting his eye for detail and refining his skills.
On returning to New Zealand, Stephen settled in Auckland, specialising in interior and architectural photography. He has always been drawn to the strong lines of architecture, its form, function and unique abstraction. Stephen is at home capturing old buildings, modern spacious designs or a juxtaposition of both.
